Another Post (in the same day........(gasp)

Okay, I know you think I have lost my mind, or something worse....(does that statement make any sense????) It is really late but I wanted to go ahead and post another card.  This is a  wedding card that I made for some good friends of the family that recently got married. Jeremy, the Groom is one of my son Andrew's  best friends, and the girl he married, Jessica, is my daughter in law Denise's best friend....that works out huh??? I tried to get good pics of the card because it was soooooo cute but the pics don't do it justice.  It has no cricut, ( I don't think the last cards I posted did either....omg maybe I am coming down with something??) and I used my favorite punch again and it has pearl accents and the paper trim paper is silver and I used stickles all over it.  It really was cute if I do say so myself.  The stamps were doodlebug wedding stamps that I got for $1.00 at Big Lots and had never used til this card.  I love a bargain. especially a scrappin' bargain.  It was hard to take good pics of this card so I apologize for the photography.   Congrats to the newlyweds.
Talk to you all soon

IT'S TOO HOT OUTSIDE....TIME TO SCRAP

Well It is Hot!!! That is really an understatement but I guess it is almost the 4th of July but we have had record heat here and we are all feeling it...all the more reason to stay in where it's cool and "scrap". (Why am I acting like I need a reason to scrap???? lol )  I have a couple of cards to show you. One of them was for my Aunt Peggy who I would ask you to keep in your prayers.  She is battling cancer in her throat and going thru chemotherapy right now.  She has always been my favorite aunt and she is a very special lady.  I have been trying to send her a card every week to let her know how much she means to all of us.  I love this paper can't remember where it came from out of my millons in my room, but it is so pretty.   I added the picture of another one I sent to her daughter Jennifer who was in a terrible wreck earlier in the year and has been thru her own battles...now dealing with all this with her mom.  They are strong and we believe that she is going to come thru this all.  All our love and good thoughts are with the whole family.
The sentiments are all stamps.  I love the colors too.  Of course the edge is my favorite Martha Stewart punch.
That's all for now folks...hope to be posting again soon

My Precious Grandson

I promised I would post a pic of my adorable little Grandson Jaxson.  He was born February 7th and he is the absolute BOMB....at least me and his Grandpa think so. He is almost 4 months old now.  I took these pics last night while we were babysitting....I am not sure how good his eye sight will be since Grandma takes sooooo many pictures.  Don't you just love that little face...We are very blessed....Being a Grandma is the best!!!! Enjoy.

Graduation Card Pics

I thought I would post a few of the Graduation cards that I made for some of my family.  The hat was done with the Wild Card Cartridge and the lettering is of course my very favorite cart "Mickey Font".  I don't think the pictures are as good as they could be but I am new at this.  My Son, (#3 for those of you that are trying to keep track)Jake, just Graduated from Technical College as a Certified Auto Body Collision Specialist so we are very Proud.  I thought the cards turned out very well for as quick as I put them together...It's a little hard to tell but the year is in a metallic Silver with lined texture.  Just thought I would share....Have a great Memorial Day Weekend all of you out there.
